Yes, I haven’t posted for ages, I know. I actually did the ICAD challenge, all 61 days. Here is Week 3:
ICAD
Second Week of #icad
ICADI am seriously enjoying doing these… And also I enjoy alcohol markers. I started with three and then bought three more. They are just amazing. I was reluctant to use them as they are expensive and not lightfast but I finally decided that I should not worry too much about lightfastness as I can always scan my work and make prints if I wanted to hang it on a wall… so yeah…
And I also made some stamps from leftover rubber I have from December challenge. They are tiny and so imperfect but I think they are well suited for this purpose.
First Seven Days of #icad
ICADI was sure that I won’t do Index Card a Day challenge this year. So… I am doing it ๐
It’s strangely satisfying to use markers and be able to finish it fast and not worry about it being beautiful or likeable or anything. Let’s see how long I will keep up.
ICAD: two videos
ICAD, Mixed Media, video, WatercolorI am in the middle of experimenting with watercolors this month and it’s making me so happy. But last week I have recorded two videos, which I haven’t shared with you. They are already on YouTube. Both are ICAD projects, but also use watercolor, so I am not moving away from this month’s topic ๐
They are very quick and simple cards, but were fun to make. ICAD is perfect project for experimenting with stuff. Something like this I would never do in my journal, but felt ok for the index card. A bit like card-making, which I never did in my life ๐ So, I hope you will enjoy them… For tomorrow, I have a bright and colorful post in mind for World Watercolor Month challenge…
ICAD video: Trust
Faces, ICAD, Mixed Media, videoAnother index card. These are really fun and quick. Why trust? Because it’s important. Look at her… she trusts herself ๐
ICAD: Coloring my Stamp
ICAD, Mixed Media, Ornaments, Stamp Carving, videoRemember that stamp from yesterday? So I thought it might be a good idea to use it on one of the index cards. I colored it with Sakura Glaze Pens. I love how they have the finish reminding of a ceramic tile :). Pity I cannot buy them here… Unfortunately, I have some nice people from the US who are always happy to support with hard to get supplies ๐
