It was raining last night. I tried to use salt on my watercolor but it just got stuck to the paper and I couldn’t remove it. Weird…

I’ve tried using salt a couple times. Still haven’t gotten it right. Must be a trick to it.

Oh I don’t know… some people get great results with salt. For me it was always just trouble.

The pallet is so pretty! I’d tried salt on a piece way back and it looked just like that. I don’t think it’s meant to look very obvious unless the pigment is really concentrated. 😃

Thanks! My main problem was that the salt stuck to the paper so hard that I kept smearing the paint while rubbing it off. Maybe it was the salt… 😁
