World Watercolor Month: Days 27-29

Finally I am back to normal. It’s rainy and cool and I can sleep again. The only thing that I miss about the seaside is my early morning swim. But a good night sleep is much more appreciated.

So, today I actually finished the last of my 31 ATCs, therefore I have accomplished my challenge. I will save that one to post tomorrow though because it’s still drying.

Today I am posting my work done over the past couple days of my seaside holiday. One is an ATC done with only two colors and the other one a larger piece done in my 5×8 Strathmore journal. Here they are:

  1. Yay! Congratulations! That was a great ride, isn’t it? 😀 I love both pieces. ❤ The pattern in the first is so unique and the face in the journal looks so shy and somewhat peeking. You rocked this style, Larisa! More and in bigger pieces maybe? Yes? 😀

    • Thanks Laura! I am not really the person for large pieces because I so lack patience and like to finish a painting in one go… I will switch to 5×7 or 5×8 for a start as I have a few journals and blocks. We will see what happens, maybe it’s just a matter of practice…

      • I am the same way, Lucy, 8 x 10 seems huge to me. I like to finish all at once either, I feel like I’d be a totally different person every time I worked on a piece if I had to stretch it out over several days. Although sometimes I have to do that even with my small acrylics. I understand totally but you really found something here with wc and I really hope you’ll stay with it. Just love what you’re doing! It’s unique too and I think you could def. find a market for it!
